Town Sea Front Before The RainThis is a shot, I have been wanting to try for a while now. Time was limited today and didn't have enough of it to drive over to the west coast of the island. Given the time of year and the fact traffic could be busy between 4/5pm (what I need) It would be perfect timing to try and tick this off the list. It was still a little early when I left my flat (in town), so I thought I would head to Costa to grab a hot chocolate as it was brass monkeys outside (Cold). When returning back to my car I could see some lovely colour in the sky over the breakwater towards the south direction of the Island. The sun had not set enough yet to give me what is called "the blue hour" (The hour after the sun has completely set) so I thought I would head over there to try and see if I could get a shot with the cloud in the background. Luckily when I got there, the tide was low which uncovered a little gully where the water ran into giving me lead in lines each side of the frame. Looking out to where this lovely covered cloud was sitting just above Jersey I could also see that it was raining which gave another interesting element to the shot. This is the image I was able to walk away with.
